DETROIT friends: let’s hang on Saturday, February 3rd

One of the best things I’ve done for myself as a creator and mother is sell my handmade product line, Gussy Sews, at local events. I used to strictly sell online in my shop. For years, that was the best fit for my business. But now that I have a tribe of little people who call me mama, plus a fourth baby on the way, it’s been so fun to get out with the public to sell Gussy and be with you.

If you’re local to DETROIT, or if you’re willing to drive here, I’ll be selling my ruffled, colorful Gussy products this Saturday, February 3rd at Our Shepherd Lutheran Church: 2225 East 14 Mile Road, Birmingham, MI 48009 from 9:30am to 12 Noon.

Mid-Summer last year I set up a table at a local bakery amongst other handmade artisans, then in December I had two more shows, one was at a Gala and the second was in our home (!!!). And the one in our home, that may have been my very favorite show ever.

And now, kicking off 2018, I’m selling at a Moms 2 Mom sale on February 3rd at Our Shepherd Lutheran Church.

In addition to what you see here and in my online shop, I’ve designed wooden necklaces for young girls :) They are similar in style to the ones in my shop, and perfect for girls ages 3-10 years. They’re sturdy, colorful, and my two girls favorite accessory because it’s “just like moms”.

If you are local, share what city you call “home” in the comments!

Selling in person and really being in community with all of you is just so, so fun, and I hope to see you this Saturday! xx

Hi there, if you ever want to come out to the Ann Arbor area, the craft show in Saline is HUGE and many, many people attend it. They usually have one in the spring and winter. Just thought I would pass that along if you’re interested!!
