The holidays are nearing — can you believe Christmas is in less than 5 weeks? In between now and the end of the year are multiple holidays, ones that gather our communities for thanksgiving and merriment and hope. If you’re looking for hostess gift for a party you’ve been invited to, or if you’re looking for a sentimental gift, today’s feature & giveaway from our sponsor The Vintage Pearl is perfect for you :)

Erin has designed a line of items that are lovely for gifting the little lady or friend or mother in your life. Erin and her team even have gifts for men as well as keepsakes (check, check).

Enjoy the feature, and be sure to enter to win a super generous gift card from TVP, just in time for the holidays, at the end of this post.

I’m a stay at home Mom of four kids – Caleb is 12, Jonah is 10, Tessa is 9 and Eden is 5. I grew up playing competitive soccer and met my husband in college, and now I coach our high school’s girls team. I create handstamped jewelry that is designed to be simple yet meaningful. Our jewelry is inspired by life, love, faith, friendship and family. Many of our designs are created from scratch by us — our sketches become stamps and charms are molded by hand, making them totally unique to us! We are located in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

I began TVP in 2007, hand stamping on my kitchen counter while at home with my kids. It began as a creative outlet, which turned into a hobby I loved, that unintentionally turned into a business.

My favorite piece changes often, but I’m currently loving our new vintage spoon charm necklaces — we took old spoons and turned them into charms and stamp initials on them. They are so beautiful and fun, a piece that everyone notices when wearing it! You can see our four different styles here: one, two, three, four.

I’m so proud of our team raising over $230,000 for Oklahoma disaster relief after the big Moore tornado last May! Wanting to help as much as possible we first began the fundraiser by donating 100% of each Love for Oklahoma necklace, thinking we MIGHT sell 1,000 necklaces. We ended up selling thousands of necklaces (to our surprise!) and our amazing team members volunteered to stay late, work weekends and donate their time to get them done — we have a pretty amazing team!

It’s A LOT of work, but if you love it and have a passion for it then stick with it. When you start to feel overwhelmed then hire part time help, and delegate to them the tasks you enjoy the least so that you can continue to do what you love. For me, that was customer service :)

Erin has generously offered to one Gussy Sews ready a $75 gift card to her shop, The Vintage Pearl. Follow the rafflecopter prompts below to enter to win.

I’ve been shopping at TVP for about 3 years now. I absolutely love all of their beautiful jewelry. Right now I’m coveting the vintage spoon necklaces! They remind me so much of my grandmothers house when I was growing up

Hmm it says Pear Tree, but I’m going to assume it was TVP! My current favorite is the circles of love-one gold one silver. On the silver, I’d like it to say “The days are long, but the years are short.” (Yes it fits!) and on the smaller one the names of my children. I also like the infinity necklace, and the messy nest! So many great choices!
