{rain, sewing & coffee}

June 8, 2010 · 17 Comments

It’s a dreary, rainy, cloudy day here in Minneapolis. I’m up to my ears in orders — organizing them into little to-do lists, sewing away and also sipping coffee :] The cool air is coming into the living room while I iron… it feels lovely. The radio is playing oldies…

    I feel like such a lazy bum compared to all of your productive activity… Unfortunately, I am just sitting here watching the rain…. :)

    I wish it were raining here. . . that would be perfect for my stay-at-home day. But alas, it’s sunny outside, and I’m crocheting [also to the sound of oldies :]

    I am feeding my four day old on the couch, with my husband and watching season 7 of 24. Life is pretty good right now! Thanks for asking :)

    I’m trying to get some sewing done myself while I listen to some soothing Jack Johnson. Getting ready to head to get my weekly allergy shots. Not fun, but definitely worth it. And… Watching Jillian’s show tonight!

    i have a huge decision to make and my stomach is in knots. in fact i feel like i am going to throw up. i don’t know what to do. remember that job. yea its about that. its a good decision to make but at the same time super scary, long commute involved, lots more work, lots more money, lots more stress, but a promotion….oh God give me strength…

    Sounds like a good day…lots of orders and if the sun was out, you’d want to be out there anyway! :)

    It’s a dreary rainy day in Michigan too! My girls and I had a wonderful lazy morning (yeah for preschool being over) and a trip to the library. Love rainy days! :)

    sipping on coffee, and organizing my house! We just moved off base (from a 2 bedroom) into a HUGE home, but now I have to find a place for everything that we just moved.

    I had a date with my littlest guy today – coffee, donuts, nature, football, and lots of laughs and hugs. It was perfect. And then I got a nap :)

    Took the littlest of my little ones to the pool today… a rare day without big brother and sister! Then worked on a tutorial for next week!

    I love a good rainy day!

    I was praising the Lord today for His goodness and kindness. I found an online school that teaches how to make clothing patterns. So I’ll be able to take my clothing ideas and make them a reality!
